Roberts Worlds Fest is a free to attend event that celebrates the rich diversity of Roberts Elementary students and their families. Roberts students and their families come from over 20 different countries!
India, Russia, Italy, France, Portugal, Philippines, Bolivia, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, China, Turkey, Canada, Cuba, Mexico and Romania will be represented with educational booths and fun activities for the kids.
Enjoy international food provided by area ethnic restaurants. Saffron Indian Cuisine, Loblolly Creamery, Tamalittle Tamales, Lupita's Original Mexican Food, Kathmandu MoMo Food Truck, Hall Brothers Food Truck, Ocko’s Hibachi Food Truck , Repicci’s Italian Ice, Shambala Mobile Vegan Food Truck, Mastanilicious Indian Drinks, China Taste and Banana Leaf Food Truck will be on hand with their delicious offerings. Prices range from $1-$5 (cash) for small samples to healthy portions. (Food trucks charge their normal rates and accept credit cards.)
International dancers, singers and musicians will be performing on the dining hall stage throughout the festival. Acts include Indian, Mexican and Irish dances; Indian songs performed by Diya Chakraborty; and Chinese performers. (Check our performance page for performance schedule). We are excited to welcome The Parkview Player’s Mime Troupe whose actors will be wondering the halls during the festival entertaining the festival visitors!
Come in your own national costume or try a few outfits from different countries booths. Be sure to document yourself at our photo booth.
AGAIN THIS YEAR! The Little Rock Zoo will be here with their animal ambassadors! Come face-to-face with a Cockatoo, Texas Tortoise, Dumpy Tree Frog, Opossum, Corn Snake and a Tarantula!
