Roberts Worlds Fest is a free to attend event that celebrates the rich diversity of Roberts Elementary students and their families. Roberts students and their families come from over 20 different countries!
India, Russia, Italy, France, Portugal, Philippines, Bolivia, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, China, and Taiwan will be represented with educational booths and fun activities for the kids.
Enjoy international food provided by area ethnic restaurants. Layla’s Gyros and Pizzeria, Pita Pit, Tamalittle Tamales, Lupita's Original Mexican Food, Reggae Flavas Jamaican Food Truck, Mastanilicious Indian Drinks and Kona Ice will be on hand with their delicious offerings. Prices range from $1-$5 (cash) for small samples to healthy portions. (Food trucks charge their normal rates and accept credit cards.)
International dancers, singers and musicians will be performing on the dining hall stage throughout the festival. Acts include Indian, Mexican and Irish dances; Unity Community Performance Group; Indian songs performed by Diya Chakraborty and classical ballet presented by Arkansas Festival Ballet dancers. Come in your own national costume or try a few outfits from different countries at our free professional photo booth. Your photo can be downloaded for free after the event.
NEW THIS YEAR! The Little Rock Zoo will be here with their animal ambassadors! Come face-to-face with a ball python, bearded dragon, opossum and a macaw!
